Designed by famous professor Oiva Toikka and introduced in 2014.
This bird was in production 2014-2017. The later birds were produced at Iittala glass factory. But this particular bird is an early one and was produced at Nuutajärvi glass factory as it is sandblasted O. Toikka Nuutajärvi.
The last pictures shows this bird together with the green Metsätylli (Forest Plover) for Stockmann's 150 years Anniversary in 2012 and the red-grey Metsätylli for Stockmann in 2013. Although this bird has some features in common with these Stockmann birds, it clearly differs from the yellow-white Metsätylli for Stockmann 2013 in that the Yellow Grouse is yellow with brown feather pattern with a less prominent luster, and a dark head while the Yellow Stockmann bird has a yellow and white base with silver lustred brown feather stripes and head.
