This vintage bird was one of the twelve birds of the Birds of Passage collection in 1991-1997.
It is called "Untuviklo" in Finnish. "Untuviklo" is a playful variation of the Finnish word "Untuvikko" that is the word for a very young baby bird with downy feathers.
These birds have a very special pattern describing the downy feathers, with dark air bubbles within a beige-grey marble like pattern. The head is clear. On top of the pattern layer there is a smooth layer of clear glass.
This model is illustrated on page 69 in the book "Toikan Lasilinnut-Toikka's Glass Birds" and on page 33-35 in the book "Birds by Toikka".
