The handsome Ruby Bird is a classic design by famous professor Oiva Toikka, introduced in 1996. This bird is made of ruby red glass, which was a difficult color to produce, as it needed special procedures.
At the moment we have a few beautiful Ruby Birds, with lustered spots. These are splendid Christmas birds!
Later Ruby Birds were produced only in cranberry red color, which was an easier color to work with.
