This is a vintage Pheasant, designed by famous Professor Oiva Toikka and it was hand blown at legendary Nuutajärvi glass Factory in Finland.
The Pheasant was first introduced in 1981 and the production continued until 2015, almost 35 years. The Pheasants are red inside, but have variable colors on top of that.
This greenish, lustered Pheasant has neat feather patterns and greenish wings. The inside of the bird is red.
The Pheasant birds are presented on page 20 in the new book "Toikan Lasilinnut-Toikka's Glass Birds".
