An amber colored obediently sitting dog named "Self Control" designed by Finnish designer Markku Salo as a Pro Arte item in year 2000 for Iittala. This yellow glass dog exists also as a standing variant.
Markku Salo (1954-) has designed many different dogs made of glass and metal, the earliest ones being from the 1990s. In years 2013-2020 he designed a series of altogether 9 different limited edition Annual Dogs (in 2020 there was designed a pair of dogs as the annual dog design). These annual dogs were produced by the Lasikomppania team, to which also Markku Salo belonged, at their glass hut in Nuutajärvi village.
