A cute pair of puppies in blue and white designed by Markku Salo to celebrate Finland's 100 years of independency in 2017. These are called 'Sini' ('Blue') and 'Valko' ('White'), and are numbered and sold as a pair. The edition was limited to only 60 pcs, and they were produced at Lasikomppania in Nuutajärvi village!
These two puppies are sold as a pair and the price is for both dogs together.
There exists also another variant of this puppy design with the white puppy having a red tail and the blue one is having a green tail. This latter pair in blue-green and white-red was presented at the Nordic Fair in May 2023 at Hankyu Umeda Main Branch in Japan.
Markku Salo (1954-) has designed many different dogs made of glass and metal, the earliest ones being from the 1990s. In years 2013-2020 he designed a series of altogether 9 different limited edition Annual Dogs (in 2020 there was a pair of dogs representing the annual dogs). These annual dogs were produced by the Lasikomppania team in Nuutajärvi village, to which also Markku Salo belongs.
