This yellow bowl on a white-grey marbled foot is a large Trophy KF539 in beautiful yellow color, designed by famous Finnish designer Kaj Franck in 1968.
This Goblet is signed Kaj Franck Nuutajärvi Notsjö and it has most of the original Arabia Wärtsilä silver sticker still in place.
Different sizes and several different color combinations of the KF539 were produced. They are called "Pokaali" in Finnish.
A special technique was used when combining the different color layers. The third layer between the yellow bowl and the white-grey foot is of crystal clear glass in this item. Art objects like these by Kaj Franck were planned as Art glass items but they can also be used as colorful bowls.
