This is a typical multicolor Trophy bowl by famous Finnish designer Kaj Franck. These items were designed in 1968 and were in production at Nuutajärvi glass hut in Finland in 1968-1971.
Different sizes and several different color combinations of the KF539 were produced. They are called "Pokaali" in Finnish.
This one is the large version, and iot is ca 21,5cm high.
It is made of semi opaque glass in a warm Christmas red color.
On the second last picture you see this bowl together with two smaller ones, and on the very last picture we show color examples of other big Trophys by Kaj Franck.
A special technique was used when combining the different color layers. Art objects like these by Kaj Franck were planned as Art glass items but they are also usable as cheerful bowls.
