This is a both beautiful and humoristic shot decanter. There is sort of an Advent Calendar constituting of a 24 step scale on the flank of the Bottle. The decorations on this bottle are very beautiful. These kind of decorated Christmas Bottles have been produced yearly by Holmegaard glass factory in Denmark starting 1981, each year with a different decoration. A very nice piece to have on your Christmas table or to give as Christmas present or to start collecting..
The decor was designed by Jette Frölich and the Glass Bottle by Michael Bang.
Holmegaard is Denmark's oldest and largest glass factory.
This Christmas Bottle is in a great condition and comes in its original box and with a folded booklet with pictures of former bottles from years 1981-1986. Still today 43 years later there is a new bottle with new decorations out.
