This is a Common Teal male bird, Tavi in Finnish. Design by famous professor Oiva Toikka and hand made in the legendary Nuutajärvi glass factory in Finland 1999-2009. This model is presented on page 101 in the book "Toikan Lasilinnut - Toikka's Glass Birds".
There is an irregular granular spread of the green color pigment in this green bird with blue luster wings, black head and dark lilac beak. There are two air bubbles within the glass, well under the surface on the underside of the bird.
The price of this bird is adjusted.
