This is a rare Baby Sparrow of a special edition of 300 individuals for Finnish Mental Health Association (Suomen Mielenterveysseura) in 1997, celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the association.
Design by famous Professor Oiva Toikka and hand made in Nuutajärvi, the legendary glass village in Finland.
These birds are described on page 96 in the new book "Toikan Lasilinnut - Toikka's Glass Birds".
The last two pictures show the Baby Sparrow together with its mother, the House Sparrow - also called Grey Sparrow.
