The annual bird by Oiva Toikka for year 2001 was the Golden Dove with handsome golden color and a red beak and lustred wings. It is called Kultakyyhky in Finnish.
This Golden Dove has blue lustred wings. In the last picture you see this bird together with an early variant of the Golden Dove of ours, that has greenish lustred wings and deliberate air bubbles within the glass. A nice example of how each bird is an unique individual!
