The Heron has something mysterious about it that some would see as Professor Oiva Toikka's alter ego. The real-life cousins of the Heron glass bird can be seen along the Nuutajoki river every autumn.
This Heron bird has a matte surface, it is dark brown and green with light dots and lustered beak.
Hand made in Nuutajärvi Finland 2006-2016. You find this bird on page 137 in the book "Toikan Lasilinnut - Toikka's Glassbirds" and on pages 76-77 in the book "Birds by Toikka".
