The production of these elegant smooth glass birds for Iittala designed by Giorgio Vigna started in 2007 at Nuutajärvi glass factory. The collection contains three species: Circoli, Colori and Contrasti (see the pictures that we added of the Iittala booklet describing the 2007 Vigna collection).
This particular bird is a Contrasti in blue and black massive glass. The bird weighs almost 1,9 kg!
