The production of the glass birds designed by Vigna for Iittala started in year 2007 at Nuutajärvi glass hut. The Vigna collection contains three species: Circoli, Colori and Contrasti.
These birds are Colori birds that consist of very thick glass, but both the head and the body is hollow. The big one is 20cm long and the small one is 17cm long.
These particular Colori birds are made of clear glass. The curving sufaces on the out and inside reflect light and colors from the surrounding room.
Each of these birds is priced separately. Pictures of the big bird is marked L and of the small bird with an S. When you click on either of the alternatives mentioned under the heading a picture of that bird is shown uppermost. The price of the uppermost bird is seen under the heading. The uppermost bird can be added to the cart.
