Fresh and geometric decoration patterns were characteristic of Hilkka-Liisa Ahola's designs in the 60s. She always also was inspired by flowers.
In 1968 Hilkka-Liisa Ahola won the Grand Prix at the International ceramic competition in Faenza in Italy with her very beautiful brick installation.
