This is a 39,5 cm high and 18 cm wide, beautiful ceramic art plate by professor Heljä Liukko-Sundström.
This motive is called "Tuulta purjeisiin" ("Fair Wind"), and is hand painted in 1995.
There comes a practical hanging device with the plate.
It was in production 1996-1999.
Heljä Liukko Sundström designed many elognated oval ceramic wall plates with flower motives (heights ca 39,5cm, ca 31,5 cm and 21-28cm). The medium and small ones are commonly seen for sale, but the larger motives are more rare.
