Swedish ceramic designer Lisa Larson is well known worldwide for her figurines. This flintstone Tiger is part of her Africa series, with six different animal figurines that was in production in 1965-1975 at Gustavsberg.
It is hand decorated and has the classical Gustavsberg imprint under the belly.
The smaller, walking version of the tiger is a much later design by Lisa Larson and is still in production.
